We sell the fitting. We will not sell you the promise
Velora District is a small online shop in Indore selling home organisation hardware — cabinet pulls and knobs, door knobs, levers and locks, hinges, adhesive hooks and mounting strips, and assorted fasteners. Every listing says what the part physically measures: centre-to-centre spacing, projection, screw size and finish. None of them says it will suit your cabinet, because we cannot see your cabinet and neither can the manufacturer.
Velora District is an online retailer based in Indore, Madhya Pradesh, operating online as Velora District at veloradistrict.shop. We are online-only — there is no showroom and no walk-in counter; the address on our invoices is our business and order fulfilment address.
The handle that did not fit
The shop started with ten cabinet pulls bought for an Indore kitchen refit. The listing gave an overall length and nothing else. They arrived at 128 mm centre-to-centre against the 96 mm already drilled into the doors, which meant either new holes or new doors. Reading around afterwards, it turned out that overall length is the figure most sellers print, and centre-to-centre is the only one that decides whether a handle lines up.
That is an uncomfortable thing to discover after you have already bought the stock. So we kept selling the hardware and started printing the measurement that matters. Listings give centre-to-centre spacing, overall length, projection, the screw lengths supplied and the finish name; the honest sentence about what will and will not line up with existing holes sits on the page next to them rather than buried in a policy.
No fit promises
We do not claim any part will fit a particular door, drawer or frame. Existing hole spacing and door thickness decide that, and we say so on the product page rather than after the refund request.
Hardware only, never fitting work
No installation, no carpentry, no site visits. The screws supplied are the ones listed on the page. That keeps us to the part of the job we can actually be accountable for.
Box contents counted
Screws, anchors, spare grub screws and drilling templates are listed piece by piece. A box short of its contents is a replacement, not a discussion.
What we will not claim
We will not print a load figure we cannot source, we will not photograph a pull on a door it was never measured against, and we will not describe one maker’s finish as matching another’s. Hardware is a category where two millimetres send the parcel back — which is exactly why we would rather be the shop that printed the extra number.
